Day 2

Excursion to Kyiv Pechersk Lavra including Scithian Treasures Museum; Luscious Lunch with potato and cheese Vareniki (traditional Ukrainian dumpling); We continue to the flamboyant art district of Andriyivskyi Uzviz (Crescent), where you can enjoy outdoor art exhibitions and purchase fancied souvenirs and artworks. Evening transfer to airport for departure to the Western Ukrainian city Lviv; On arrival to Lviv check into accommodation; Succulent dinner with Carpathian Veal and Krucheniki
Day 3

After breakfast we depart on tour of Lviv including the glorious churches of Lviv, Museum of Pharmacy, Vysoki Zamok (High Castle) mountain with panoramic view of the city, 11th century Armenian church, Lyiv Opera House and the famous Rynok square; Delicious stuffed suckling of pork; Spend this afternoon at leisure browsing the memorising streets on Lviv; Tonight transfer to the railway station and overnight train to Odesa.
Day 4

On arrival to Odesa check into accommodation; after breakfast we depart a city tour of Odesa including the second most grandeur Opera House of all Europe, Primorsky Boulevard, Potemkin steps, Sea port, Deribasavskaya Street, French Boulevard and Arcadia beaches;Spend this afternoon at leisure admiring the city garden and browsing the local craft markets; Dinner at seafood restaurant with exquisite flounder and fleshly crumbed mussels.
Day 5

Morning trip to visit the Odesa Art and History Gallery; Enjoy the sites and sounds of Odesa at you own leisure; Scrumptious lunch with Solyanka and meat complete with potatoes; Tonight transfer to the railway station and overnight train to Simferopol.
Day 6

On arrival to Simferopol we indulge in a heavenly breakfast with filled pancakes and dalma (grape or cabbage leaves filled with rice, meat or mushrooms and spices); We depart for guide tour of the Livadia Palace (former Romanoff tsar residence) followed by an appetising lunch with Zrazy (Meat with vegetable and egg filling) and Stroganoff; After lunch we tantilise our tastebuds again with the nectar of the Gods from the Massandra winery; Check into accommodation and finish the night with dinner that includes Crimean stuffed quail with a selection of crisp fresh vegetables.
Day 7

After breakfast we take a tour of Bakhchisarai Khan Palace (Garden Palace); We entice our tastebubs with Tatar style lunch with Lagman (Rich spicy stew with chopped meat, vegetables and spices, poured over long hand-made noodles) and Manty (meat, onion and chopped lamb's tail covered in dough and steamed); Later we depart for Sevastopol and cast a minds back to a different time looking out over the Chersoneses an ancient Greek settlement; BBQ Ukrainian Style with Chebureki (lamb dumplings) and Shashlik (cubed marinated meat kebab roasted on charcoals).
Day 8

After breakfast transfer the airport and depart for Kyiv; Arrival to Kyiv, transfer to the international airport for departure back to NZ.

Arrival to Kyiv; Transfer to the hotel; panoramic city tour by bus including Maydan Nezalezhnosti, Mikhailivski Sober & Golden Gate; Settling into accommodation; Delectable Dinner with Borsch (traditional hearty Ukrainian soup) and Pampushki (Unleavend rolls with garlic)
